Is Evolution, Theistic or Otherwise, Possible or Acceptable in Orthodox Christianity?

Death is the Result of Sin

Death, according the Scriptures, came into this universe as the result of Adam’s sin.  If man evolved over millions of years, then death was in the world long before Adam. Consequently, because death was not caused by sin, the work of the Cross in eliminating sin would not eliminate death.   Thus if evolution, theistic or otherwise, were true, death is a process that cannot be avoided and there is not eternal life possible, and certainly none through the death and resurrection for Jesus Christ.  Christ died for sin, not for death, and if death was not caused by sin, then death remains.  It need not be said again that this denies the Bible.  The point here is that Genesis denies evolution between species entirely, absolutely, and in any and all aspects and ways that it may be argued.   There was no death until the historic Adam of the Bible sinned and brought death upon the creation that was, prior to that, deathless.  If that is not true then the entire Bible is a lie, the Gospel is a lie, we are preaching falsehoods, and there is no salvation from death to eternal life.  If you are a true Christian, forget about trying to find room in the Bible for evolution, theistic or atheistic, to pacify the world of academe, to preserve your ego, and to win favor with the unbelieving crowd.  It is simply not true and that is that.  Genesis will positively not allow for it. You cannot believe God and the Bible while at the same time believing in evolution.  You might as well know that now, and decide which side you are on.
